Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ruben Williams

First off let me just say that I am concerned by this bout, though over and done, we all know (and knew before hand) how this was going to go.

Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ruben Williams

I feel like I could end the post right there! Actually my point is just my opinion, but I should remind everyone especially my fellow (hardcore) boxing fans out there that MMA and Boxing are 2 different worlds.
Ruben Williams was a contestant on season 3 of the Contender here in America. Ruben has NEVER had a professional fight in MMA and after training in MMA for 1 year he fights Sakuraba, an MMA Legend!

The Japanese market has always been more about the spectacle more than the competition but this was a stretch for even the most outlandish Pride or K1 show out there! It's like Floyd Mayweather fighting Me! Sakuraba is an AMAZING ground specialist and has a resume' that is just as amazing as the skills that got him his winning record. I take nothing away from Williams as a boxer but as an MMA fighter he looked bad. Let's be reminded that at boxing he may even KO Sakuraba, (maybe) but MMA is a different animal.

Former Female World Champion Boxer Jessica Rakoczy suffered a loss in MMA just recently, in her first fight, a Boxer with World Class hands, mounted and pounded out.

I would like to see more boxers try their hands at MMA, but not without training hard and trying your "new skills"out on lower level opponents, not against Legends.
Just an opinion, but as a fan I like competitive fights, not victories by a landslide.
Any thoughts
