Report: JDS ‘personal problems’ were split with wife

Junior Dos Santos recently made comments about suffering “personal problems” during the run-up to his fight with Cain Velasquez at UFC 155.

The fight was entirely one-sided in Velasquez’s favor and Dos Santos lost the heavyweight title by way of the unanimous decision at the end of it.

Now a Brazilian MMA reporter claims to have uncovered what the “problems” actually were – a divorce from his wife of ten years, Vilsana.

“If you were wondering what JDS meant when said he has personal issues prior to Cain’s rematch, he ended his 10-year marriage w/ Vilsana,” Cruz posted on Twitter today.

Dos Santos married Visana Piccozi when he was 18 years old and they were in a relationship before that. No reason for the split has been put forward.
