The UFC briefly had its website hacked on Sunday.
Visitors to UFC.com were diverted to this holding page set up by hackers claiming to be members of The Underground forum (although it should be noted the hack had nothing to do with The Underground forum itself).

The hack took place as a result of the UFC’s open support for the controversial ‘Stop Online Piracy Act’ which US legislators have been attempting to force into law. SOPA has met with stiff opposition from those who claim it will stifle creativity and freedom of expression.
UFC executives Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White have supported SOPA on the grounds that the UFC, a pay-per-view company, loses a fortune in revenue every year because of illegal streaming and downloading of its fights.
If the hack was supposed to rattle them and make them think again though, it appears to have been unsuccessful. White took to Twitter to say that he is “a fight guy not a website guy”, that he couldn’t give “a flying rats ass about UFC.com” and that the website being down did not “mean sh-t”.

At the end of the day, the UFC is having too many events and continue to charge the same $50 per PPV fight. Since the cards are not stacked with awesome fights like they used to, it gets expensive to pay for this stuff every single month and sometimes twice a month.
I also think it's horrible of Dana White or the UFC that they don't give a fukc about their website. I pay to stream some of their stuff on their website... what the fukc.

Your comment makes you sound like another OWS pussy. Quit whining about life being unfair and get a better job. This country doesnt guarantee you shit, besides the opportunity to make money. Quit blaming others for your life being a failure.

If that's directed at me you can suck a c**ck mate... i've worked hard for most of my adult life and decided to go back to college now so i can get more money. I have no problem paying for the PPV's, i was just stating what i felt for people who can't afford it. Maybe like families who would rather spend their money on, oh... i don't know?... food for their kids? And as for you saying all this country does is provide people with oppertunities to make money, have you ever lived in a poverty stricken area where there are literally NO jobs for anyone appart from the odd off the books hobble, which if the government finds out about you get done for tax evasion and benefit fraud? probably not. Go latch yourself back on to the teet of capitalism.

He's also a "money guy"... The UFc is breaking the mainstream so rapidly and turning over stupid amounts of money.... So because some people can't afford to pay for the PPV's and stream the fights he agrees that SOPA should pass? That's bullshit. How often do we hear Dana say "i'm just a fight fan"? Well so are the people streaming it, and they should be penalised because they can't afford to pay for the events? F**k that...
