Georges St. Pierre hopes to make his return to action on an upcoming Montreal card.
The welterweight champion appeared via video-link at a UFC press conference in Calgary, Canada today to talk about his recovery from the knee surgery he underwent recently.
When he does come back, he will face interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit, who trains under St. Pierre’s former coach Greg Jackson.
“My rehab is going really well. The doctor says it is the fastest they've ever seen. I'm halfway through my rehab and I can't push too much,” he said.
“I have to wait the minimum amount of time that I'm allowed to start training again. I'll be training full out in July and hopefully I'll have a chance to fight in front of my Canadian fans in November.”
November 17 will see UFC 154 take place at the Bell Center in Montreal, where St. Pierre has previously headlined twice.
