Siver takes two attempts to make weight at UFC on FUEL 2 weigh ins (updated)

All fighters were on weight today at the official UFC on FUEL 2 weigh-ins in Stockholm, Sweden - except for Germany’s Denis Siver, who is to make his featherweight debut on the card.

At time of writing - the weigh ins have just concluded - he is backstage trying to lose one pound, which would leave him at 146lbs. That would count as making weight as there is a one-pound excess allowance for non-title fights.

**Update - Siver has now made weight for the fight by shedding the excess pound

Main event fighters Alexander Gustafsson and Thiago Silva were both bang on the 205lb mark for their light-heavyweight fight, while Alessio Sakara was 186 for his co-main middleweight match against Brian Stann (185).
