Anthony Njokuani is matched with Paul Taylor for UFC on FUEL 4.
The Nigerian-American lightweight kickboxer faces his British counterpart on the televised portion of the card, according to Fighters Only sources.
Paperwork is in place to make the bout official.
Njokuani goes into the fight off the back of a win over John Makdessi at UFC 145 this past weekend. He took a unanimous decision in the catch weight fight as Makdessi failed to make weight.
Taylor last fought in February 2011 when he stopped Gabe Ruediger with a head kick at UFC 126, snapping a two-fight losing streak in the process.
Since then he has suffered several mishaps and injuries which have scuppered return fights, including a car crash just days before he was to fight at UFC 138 in his native Birmingham.
Taylor had also been lined up to face Makdessi in August last year but Makdessi pulled out injured. Taylor was set up with a replacement opponent but then broke his foot in training.
