FIGHTERS ONLY ICON ISSUE 2012

Every year at Fighters Only we put together an Icon issue, an entire magazine dedicated to the achievements of one fighter now retired from the cage. Over the past two year's we've done an Icon issue for both Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture, and it's time we put together 2012's instalment.

Naturally, the list of former champions and Hall of Fame UFC superstars is huge and we're literally spoilt for choice as regards to who should be our next Icon cover star. So, we are asking you, the loyal FO readership to get involved and have your say.

Each year we trust you guys to vote for the overall winner's at the annual Fighters Only World MMA Awards, so why wouldn't we get you all involved again by inviting you to cast your votes for the next Fighters Only Icon issue recipient.

The criteria is simple... Your vote has to be for the athlete you most think deserves to be immortalised with an Icon issue, and join Chuck and Randy in FO's own icon hall of fame. They have to be a former champion, to have gone above and beyond in MMA, and they must now be retired.

And, to make things even more cool, one lucky reader who successful selects the next Icon Issue cover star will also be given the opportunity to feature inside the issue!

To get involved, simply leave a comment below with your vote.

A lot of people are saying Hughes and Penn but both are not retired!
Also Wandy not retired and Tito is a douche that dodged a lot of guys in their prime.

    1. Fedor
    2. Royce Gracie
    3. Dan Sevrin

Don't you people read, they will only have ONE fighter in the mag so why give more name more than fighter.

There can only be ONE fighter in the next mag and that is clearly FEDOR EMELIANENKO.

If you give it to Tito then I think there's some serious UFC nuthugging involved, yes I'm talking to you fighters only.

people are listing possible fighters thats why they are naming more than one...as for Fedor in my opinion he will never be remembered as one of the great fighters ever due to the fact he never proved himself in the UFC he seemed to duck and dive the UFC..and if you want to be remembered as great then you must do it in the greatest organization..yes a great fighter but not hall of fame for me sorry!if you have to be 100% retired with no chance of comeback then its tito..a lot of these names have said they are retired..

I'm sorry but fedor was the dominant heavyweight in pride bak wen pride was THE number 1 mma org in the world by far. If you were watching mma bak then u wud kno this bak then Tito was ducking from opponents jus goes to sho that ur jus a noob. If randy is in there so shud fedor, fedor dominated big nog twice wen big nog was in his prime n an old rusted big nog whooped randy. Fedor was more dominant n fought way more tougher opponents than chuck ever did also his reign as number 1 was world recognised n lasted longer than chucks dominance in the weak UFC lhw division, all the top lhw were in pride anyway
