Never let it be said that Zuffa doesn’t know how to party.
The parent company of the UFC and Strikeforce held its annual Christmas party in Las Vegas this week, treating staff to food, drink and musical entertainment.
All of the above were top-notch of course - what else from a company that employs Nobu chefs in the executive canteen? - but the music act blew the attendees away. Nobody was expecting what they got when the curtain dropped, as former WEC owner Reed Harris explains:
“So last night Dana, Lorenzo and Frank brought in The Red Hot Chili Peppers as our entertainment at the annual Zuffa Christmas party. I was about 3 feet from the stage when they dropped the curtain... I was stunned!” he wrote on The Underground.
“Everybody in the company went nuts... These guys really know how to throw a party!”
Here at Fighters Only, our musical Christmas treat is usually being allowed to turn the radio on in the office. But we are currently having a whip-round and if we can get the money together, we might hire the Chilli Peppers for our Friday night bash as well.
We’ve got £12.80 so far…
