Wanted: An Experienced Managing Editor with Passion for MMA and attention to detail and deadlines!

• Formulating editorial policy; planning, coordinating and directing editorial activities
• Managing an editorial team - assigning journalists to stories, establishing production schedules, solving publication problems and discussing makeup plans and organisational changes
• Overseeing lead stories for each issue
• Providing guidance and mentoring to the editorial team
• Managing staffing and budgets, reporting to the managing director
• Writing stories, editorials

The Managing Editor will work from our Head Office in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience at required level. Working knowledge of Indesign and other MAC based programmes a benefit.
