One of MMA’s great middleweights will look to notch another title defence as the Netherlands’ Gegard Mousasi puts his 185-pound title on the line against undefeated contender Austin Vanderford at Bellator Dublin on February 25.

Bellator officials confirmed the event, and the main event booking, to Fighters Only via press release, with 57-fight veteran Mousasi aiming to register back-to-back title defences for the first time as a Bellator fighter against Vanderford, who earned his shot at championship gold with a unanimous decision victory over England’s Fabian Edwards in May.

Also confirmed for the fight card is a pivotal battle in the Bellator lightweight division, as Ireland’s former title challenger Peter Queally faces off against England’s Kane Mousah.

Queally suffered his first professional stoppage loss when he was TKO’d by Patricky Pitbull in their battle for the vacant lightweight title in Dublin in November.

Now “The Showstopper” is returning to his home town to face Mousah, who is looking to break into the upper echelon of the 155-pound division with a victory over one of the toughest lightweights on the planet.

Other confirmed bouts include a lightweight bout between England’s in-form Charlie Leary and France’s Davy Gallon, while Junior Morgan will take on Darragh Kelly. Brian “The Pikeman” Moore is also set to feature in a bout against an opponent to be confirmed at a later date.
