Brave Combat Federation’s 71st event has a huge main event, with the promotion’s super welterweight championship on the line at the top of the card.

Brave CF 71 takes place in Bahrain on Monday, June 19, with Poland’s Marcin Bandel putting his recently-won super-welterweight championship on the line against undefeated Russian contender Kamal Magomedov.

Bandel captured the 175-pound title by upsetting the odds and defeating “The Austrian Wonderboy” Ismail Naurdiev via in the main event of Brave CF 63. The Polish submission specialist dropped Naurdiev with strikes, then finished him on the ground with an armbar as he defeated his heavily favored opponent in just 90 seconds to claim the vacant belt.

Now he’s set to take on Magomedov, who captured the Titan FC welterweight title back in 2019 before he joined Brave CF in 2021. The Russian has continued his perfect run under the Brave banner, with stoppage wins over Viraly Tverdokhlebov (via submission), and Olli Santalahti (via doctor TKO) putting him in line for a shot at Bandel’s 175-pound title.

Also booked for the June 19 show is a featherweight bout between Ukraine’s Omar Solomonov and Kazakhstan’s Ilyar Askhanov.

Solomonov is riding a 10-fight win streak, with only one of those victories requiring the use of the judges’ scorecards, while Askhanov has won his last three.

Brave CF 71 takes place Monday, June 19 at the National Stadium in Riffa, Bahrain, and streams live on watch.bravecftv.com
