Erick Sanchez enjoyed a dream promotional debut as he claimed a stunning one-shot knockout at Cage Warriors 143 in San Diego.
Sanchez faced off against Jamey Lynch in the night’s featured lightweight bout, and delivered the outstanding moment of the night with a brilliant first-round finish.
A thumping straight right got the job done as Sanchez connected clean to flatten Lynch and earn the 11th win of the former Bellator and Combate Global fighter’s career.

In the night’s co-main event, Trey Williams earned a dominant unanimous decision victory over Elijah Harris, while Jeffrey Craig edged the welterweight battle of 2-0 prospects with a split decision win over Chasen Blair.
The two 170-pounders battled all the way to the scorecards, with Craig edging the decision with scores of 29-28, 28-29, 29-28, though the reaction from the crowd at Humphreys By The Bay clearly suggested they thought the verdict should have gone the other way.
Also on the main card, Jordan Bailey scored a huge win as he defeated 45-fight veteran JJ Ambrose via submission to improve his pro record to 8-5.
Ambrose came into the bout holding a huge experience advantage, with a career that has seen him compete in Bellator, Pancrase, and The Ultimate Fighter. But it was Bailey who prevailed, as the 29-year-old from Folsom, California dropped Ambrose with an uppercut, then snatched a second-round guillotine choke to score back-to-back wins under the Cage Warriors banner following his debut defeat to Max Rohskopf at Cage Warriors 130.
