The first fighters have been confirmed for Cage Warriors’ upcoming event in London in July, and they include a host of the promotion’s top names.

Cage Warriors 157 will take place on Friday, July 21 at the Indigo at The O2, with the event streaming live globally on UFC Fight Pass and via the promotion’s various international partners.

Already confirmed for the show is the promotion’s newly-crowned middleweight champion, Mick Stanton. “The Huyton Hammer” showcased his experience and grappling skills to defeat fellow title challenger Will Currie and capture the vacant 185-pound scrap in March, and he’s set to make the first defense of his title in London in July.

Joining him on the card are two former champions who are looking to work their way back to the top of their respective divisions.

Former middleweight champ James Webb wants to work his way back to a title shot, and is scheduled to make his first appearance since November 2022.

Webb holds a unanimous decision win over current champ Stanton on his record, and will be looking to book himself a rematch with victory on his return to the cage in London.

Another former champion looking to make his mark is Jordan Vucenic. “The Epidemic” lost the 145-pound title in a classic with Paul Hughes at Cage Warriors 145 last November, but bounced back with a second-round rear-naked choke finish of Tiziano Ferranti at Cage Warriors 150 in London in March.

Now the former featherweight champ wants another chance to capture the title once again, and will be backed by a sizable and raucous army of fans when he returns to the Indigo this summer.

In addition, surging flyweight prospect Lone’er Kavanagh will look to continue his stellar form after his spectacular third-round knockout of Davide Scarano at Cage Warriors 150 in March, while featherweight Nik Bagley will also return to action after his first-round submission of Wesley Machado at the same event.
