The Cage Warriors cage is heading back to Italy on May 6, and a host of fighters have already been confirmed for the fight card in Rome.

Fiera Roma in the Italian capital will play host to Cage Warriors 154, with a number of notable names set for action in Italy.

Confirmed for the card is former UFC veteran Carlo Pedersoli Jr, who will look to add another win to his resume after returning to the promotion with a win over Cage Warriors veteran Madars Fleminas at Cage Warriors 144 in October 2022.

That victory put Pedersoli on a three-fight win streak, and the American, who fights out of Rome, Italy, will be looking to deliver a statement performance in a bid to earn a shot at the Cage Warriors welterweight title later this year.

Also set for action is former Dana White’s Contender Series prospect Leon Aliu. The Italian middleweight already has a first-round victory over former Cage Warriors 185-pound champ James Webb, and will look to make it two wins under the Cage Warriors banner when he competes on home soil on May 6.

Other Italian contenders set for action are undefeated bantamweight Dylan Hazan, while another 135-pounder, Emanele Zaccaria, is also booked to compete. The show will also feature the Cage Warriors debut of Italian lightweight Simone Patrizi, who recently signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion.

“Fans have been clamoring for Cage Warriors’ return to Rome ever since our sell-out debut last year,” said Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan.

“We’ve added some serious Italian talent to the roster (and) they’re going to get the opportunity to prove themselves against Europe’s elite.

“Cage Warriors 144 was one of the biggest nights in Italian MMA history, but on May 6, we’re upping the ante!”
