Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is back.

Cruz, also an ex-WEC titleholder at 135lbs, will return to the Octagon for the first time in almost two years against the ever-entertaining John Lineker at UFC 233.

UFC 233 is scheduled to take place on January 26th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

“The Dominator” hasn’t competed in the cage since he lost his belt to Cody Garbrandt at UFC 207.

Cruz was due to fight perennial contender Jimmie Rivera around this time last year, but pulled out of the fight with a broken arm.

Lineker last fought at UFC 224, knocking out Brian Kelleher, and is ranked sixth in the official UFC bantamweight rankings.
