Jorge Masvidal capped off his phenomenal 2019 by dominating Nate Diaz for the ‘BMF’ title earlier this month at UFC 244.

Masvidal’s rise has caught the attention of many, including Conor McGregor in the fight’s lead-up.

However, while “Gamebred” would be more than willing to fight McGregor to cash in on his peak of success so far, Masvidal believes “The Notorious” no longer wants the bout after seeing the Miami native was the victor and not old foe Diaz.

“To be quite frank, he was flirting with fighting the winner when the possibility of the winner was Nate,” Masvidal said on The Dan LeBatard Show [H/T MMAJunkie].

“And he kept throwing it out there. He even made his prediction he thought Nate would win. Since I’ve won, he hasn’t said a peep to address me or nothing.”

Not one to beg for a fight with the man who makes opponents rich, Masvidal claims he has no interest in campaigning for a McGregor fight if the latter isn’t interested.

Though, he does insist he would be ready and willing for that challenge should it present itself.

“I’m not a bully, either,” Masvidal said. “I’m not going to be one of these cyber bullies. If you don’t want to fight, I don’t want to fight.

“If you want to fight, I’m licking my chops. Man, we’re going shopping. We’re going to do it big. You know what I’m saying? That dude don’t want it.”
