European MMA promotion KSW announced that it is set to welcome fans to its events for the first time since December, 2019.

KSW 61 is set to take place at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland on 5 June. That venue will allow for a 50% audience capacity, per government guidelines.

Fresh off the promotion’s heavyweight title fight featuring champion Phil De Fries and light heavyweight kingpin Tomasz Narkun at KSW 60, two heavy hitters will be welcoming Polish MMA fans back to live action in June.

Former World’s Strongest Man-turned MMA heavyweight Mariusz Pudzianowski will face fellow big man Lukasz Jurkowski in the KSW 61 main event.

“This clash between two Polish MMA legends and icons will serve as a fitting main event to welcome fans back at a KSW showcase for the first time in over 18 months,” says the official statement from KSW. “Both Pudzianowski and Jurkowski are credited with helping the sport of MMA grow in this part of the world and are true fan favourites.”
