KSW will crown a new welterweight champion in the main event of KSW 81 as Adrian Bartosinski and Artur Szczepaniak go head to head in the main event in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland on April 22.

Bartosinski is undefeated at 13-0, with his last five wins coming under the KSW banner. His most notable win came in his last outing in November 2022 when he needed just one round to defeat former title challenger Krystian Kaszubowski via TKO at KSW 76.

The 27-year-old arrived in KSW after a stint on KSW reality TV show “Only One,” where he won all of his fights on the show, only to be forced out of the season finale due to injury.

However, it didn’t take long for him to bounce back after that setback, and Bartosinski reeled off five successive victories, including that first-round finish of Kaszubowski, to earn himself a shot at the vacant 170-pound title.

He’ll take on Begium-based Polish contender Szczepaniak, who burst onto the KSW scene in 2022 with two eye-catching first-round finishes.

The 26-year-old defeated Jivko Stoimenov via rear-naked choke on his promotional debut at KSW 69, then delivered a statement to the rest of the division with a head-kick finish of Dutch contender Brian Hooi at KSW 76.

Also set for action on April 22 is a bout between former Polish Muay Thai and kickboxing champion Tomasz Sarara and Dutch kickboxing legend Errol Zimmerman, who will face off in the small gloves under MMA rules.
