The “Violence Queen” is headed to the Octagon.

KSW women’s flyweight champion Ariane Lipski announced she had been released from her KSW contract, but did not any further details of what was next for the Brazilian.

However, it’s been reported Lipski will be fighting at UFC Fight Night 140 in Buenos Aries, Argentina – the first UFC event in the country. Lipski is said to be fighting Ukrainian fighter Maryana Moroz as a replacement for the injured Veronica Macedo.

“As many already know, our contract with KSW has not been renewed,” Lipski wrote on Instagram. “I understand that it is sad news for some fans of Poland, but I want you to know that I will always represent Brazil and Poland; it is in my blood and it is my second home.”

Lipski, who boasts a record of 11-3, started her career with a record of 2-3 after losing three of her first five fights. Lipski enters the UFC Octagon riding a nine-fight win streak.

Meanwhile, “The Iron Lady” Moroz has a record of 8-3 and is on a run of two consecutive losses and is 3-3 in the UFC.

UFC Fight Night 140, otherwise known as UFC Fight Night: Magny vs. Ponzinibbio, is set to take place in Estadio Mary Teran de Weiss in Buenos Aries on November 17.
