The men’s 135- and 155-pound divisions are set to feature as the second leg of the inaugural PFL Europe season takes place in Berlin, Germany on Saturday, July 8.

The Verti Music Hall will play host to PFL Europe 2, with an eight-fight main card confirmed for the show, as the organization’s bantamweight and lightweight contenders face off in the regular season.

Berlin-based bantamweight Farbod Iran Nezhad will headline against Italy’s Francesco Nuzzi, who kicks off his PFL Europe campaign riding an eight-fight win streak, while German striker Khurshed Kakhorov will take on experienced French contender Mokhtar Benkaci in the co-main event.

Also at bantamweight, SBG Ireland’s Frans Mlambo takes on former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Dominique Wooding in a mouth-watering matchup, while the night’s other 135-pound bout will see Sweden’s undefeated Ali Taleb face off against Switzerland’s Kenj Bortoluzzi.

The lightweight portion of the card will see Latvia’s Alex Chizov look to extend his six-year unbeaten run against Spain’s Acoidan Duque, while Ireland’s Dylan Tuke takes on undefeated Englishman Connor Hughes.

Also in action at 155 pounds are France’s Geisym Derouiche and John Mitchell, while Italy takes on Poland, as Radu Maxim faces off against Jakub Kaszuba.

“This event brings together the best mixed martial arts talent from across Europe in the bantamweight and lightweight divisions,” said PFL Europe director of fight operations Dan Hardy.

“PFL Europe 2 represents the first step on a $100,000 journey, which will see one fighter from each bracket crowned the first European Champion. This is why I believe that Berlin is the perfect host city for these inaugural European championships. The German MMA fans are highly educated in the sport, and will appreciate the level of athletes competing at this event.

“Every one of these fighters has the potential to change their lives, and July 8th is the beginning of that year-long journey to the top of European MMA. Four lightweight bouts will be followed by four bantamweight bouts, with all sixteen fighters trying to secure a spot in the Playoffs in Paris, in September.

“We will have regional talents in feature bouts throughout this card, as well as the two German representatives in the bantamweight division topping the bill against tough opposition from France and Italy. This event will set a new precedent in European MMA, and the fans in attendance will witness the highest level of MMA in Europe today.”
