PFL Playoffs 3 weigh-in results: No slip-ups as all four semi-finals official for London

The final round of the PFL’s three-date playoff series comes to a close on Saturday night in London, England, and ahead of the fights at the Copper Box Arena, all of the fighters involved in the crucial 2022 season semi-finals successfully made weight at the official weigh-ins.

Two-time Olympic judo gold medallist Kayla Harrison is back in the city where she captured her first Olympic title, and she’ll be looking to book her place in her third straight PFL women’s semi-final. The American is a two-time PFL women’s lightweight champion, and will bid to make it three in a row. But to do that, she has to progress to the final, and standing in her way is Martina Jindrova of the Czech Republic, who earned her spot in the 2022 season by winning her bout in the PFL Challenger Series. Now she stands one win away from the $1 million final.

The co-main event features one of the UK’s top fighters and a man on a mission to go one step further than he did last season. Brendan Loughnane lost out in the semi-finals to eventual featherweight winner Movlid Khaybulaev last year. Now he’s looking to make it to the final with victory in this year’s semi-finals, where he faces last season’s runner-up, American Chris Wade.

The night’s other two semi-final matchups feature former Brave CF champion Bubba Jenkins against hard-hitting Japanese contender Ryoji Kudo at featherweight, and top seed and former women’s lightweight runner-up Larissa Pacheco against No. 4 seed Olena Kolesnyk.
