England’s Phil De Fries is enjoying the best form of his mixed martial arts career, and the 35-year-old from Sunderland has his sights set on the sixth straight title defense of his KSW heavyweight title.

De Fries (20-6) will take on Darko Stosic in the main event of KSW 67, which takes place in Warsaw, Poland on Saturday, February 26, with the Englishman looking to extend his remarkable winning streak to nine, including six victories under the KSW banner.

Indeed, De Fries is perfect as a KSW fighter. He captured the KSW heavyweight title with victory over Michal Andryszak on his promotional debut at KSW 43 in April 2018, then defended it five times, against Karol Bedorf, Tomasz Narkun (twice), Luis Henrique and Michal Kita.

Now he’s set to face Stosic, a four-fight UFC veteran who has won three in a row since joining KSW in 2021.

Victories over Michal Wlodarek, plus De Fries victims Kita and Andryszak have put the Serbian next in line for a title shot, and the 16-4 contender will look to do something nobody else has managed so far inside the KSW cage – defeat De Fries.
