With 34 professional fights to her name, Ham Seo Hee has done it all and fought almost everywhere around the world.

But ONE Fight Night 14, on Saturday, 30th September, provides a landmark moment for “Hamzzang,” as it will be her first time headlining a ONE Championship event.

Ham will look to make the evening that much sweeter by defeating Stamp Fairtex and leaving the Singapore Indoor Stadium with the ONE interim women’s atomweight MMA world title over her shoulder.

The South Korean superstar has amassed a wealth of combat sports experience in her storied career. Because of that, she knows better than to get caught up in the magnitude of her first ONE world title bout.

Instead, Ham remains focused on what has brought her to this point.

“I am putting in a lot of effort to get ready for the upcoming fight – like any other one – so I have no regrets when the fight comes,” she said.

“I am doing my best to prepare in every aspect rather than just preparing separately for one area. But as we both possess striking strengths, I am focusing on training to showcase it during the title fight.”

To reach this defining moment of her career, “Hamzzang” has toppled some of the division’s prospects.

She is currently riding an incredible nine-fight winning streak that dates back to 2017, including three wins in ONE.

Her latest win, against Itsuki Hirata this past March at ONE Fight Night 8, cemented her shot at the interim atomweight gold.

When she meets promotional favorite Stamp at ONE Fight Night 14, Ham plans to stop another youthful talent and cap off her impressive slate with the world title.

“I can’t say who holds the advantage, but I maintain confidence against any opponent. I always aim for the finish and try to fight aggressively. However, I also consider the judges’ verdicts and make sure to prepare accordingly,” she said.

“I think the ONE Championship belt will be the final achievement. That’s why it means a lot to me. I want to continue fighting this level of competition while defending the World Title for a long time.”
