UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will look to defend his crown for a second time against Francis Ngannou.

Dana White confirmed at the UFC on ABC 1 press conference that the rematch is scheduled to take place at UFC 260 on 27 March.

UFC 260 will have two title fights, as UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is set to put his title on the line against Brian Ortega in the co-main event.

At the time of writing, there has been no location announced for UFC 260.

When the pair first fought, Ohio’s Miocic won a commanding unanimous decision against the always-dangerous Ngannou at UFC 220 in January, 2018.

Miocic then went on to have three fights against former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, going 2-1 in the trilogy.

Meanwhile, Ngannou has put together a four-fight win streak going into his second title fight. All four of those wins came in the first round, including his most recent victory against Jairzinho Rozenstruik which culminated in a devastating 20-second knockout.
