Saturday, April 9 sees a world championship double-header arrive in Jacksonville, Florida for UFC 273, with the promotion’s featherweight and bantamweight titles on the line on a huge night of fights at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The main event will see the return of Australia’s all-conquering undisputed featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. “The Great” has lived up to his nickname by going undefeated in the UFC, and is currently riding a stellar 20-fight win streak heading into this weekend’s latest title defence. That test comes in the form of a new challenger to his crown. Chan Sung Jung has challenged for championship gold before, only to be undone by a mid-fight injury, and after climbing his way back to the top, the man known as “The Korean Zombie” is ready to capture his first UFC title.

The co-main event sees a bantamweight title rematch with an edge. Former undisputed champion and current interim champ Petr Yan looked to be on his way to victory over Aljamain Sterling before a deliberate illegal knee saw him disqualified, and Sterling crowned champion. Now, more than a year removed from that controversial finish, the pair are set to face off again to eliminate all doubt and crown an undisputed bantamweight king once again.

The card also features a pivotal bout in the UFC welterweight division, with former title challenger Gilbert Burns welcoming surging contender Khamzat Chimaev to the upper echelon of the UFC’s 170-pound class. Will Burns prove there are levels to the welterweight game, or will Chimaev blast through Burns and stake his claim for a shot at the title?

Ahead of the event, the UFC’s “Embedded” cameras are following the fighters behind the scenes as they work their way through fight week, from their final moments at home to their arrival in Jacksonville and their media obligations before the weigh-ins and the final faceoffs before fight night itself.

As described on the UFC’s official YouTube channel, on Episode 1, “Champ Aljamain Sterling looks for an emphatic win, as does interim champ Petr Yan. Korean Zombie trains with Henry Cejudo. Champ Alexander Volkanovski readies for a fun fight.”
