The official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 76 took place Friday at the UFC Apex, and it proved to be a session that the fighters wanted to get over with as swiftly as possible.
All 24 fighters successfully hit their contracted weights ahead of the event, which takes place Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with main eventers Sean Strickland and Abus Magomedov both coming in bang on the non-title middleweight limit, at 186 pounds.
The same could be said for the co-main event fighters, as ranked lightweights Damir Ismagulov and Grant Dawson both hit the 156-pound limit on the scale ahead of their matchup.
Everyone else on the card arrived on weight, ready, and early, as the session saw a constant procession of fighters taking to the scale, making weight, then heading off to rehydrate and relax ahead of fight night.
The whole session was wrapped up in less than half an hour, with UFC officials telling MMA Junkie that, at just 29 minutes, it was the fastest weigh-in session they’d ever staged at the UFC Apex.
