A lot can happen in a week and MMA is no different. After a post-New Year’s lull in MMA events, here are three big shows you won’t want to miss this week.

January 14th: UFC Fight Night 124

Taking place inside the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, UFC Fight Night 124 sees UFC featherweight stalwart Jeremy Stephens welcome “Korean Superboy” Doo Ho Choi back to the Octagon after a year on the sidelines.

This is a fascinating UFC Fight Night card. Vitor Belfort takes on striking extraordinaire Uriah Hall in what is expected to be one of his last professional fights. Meanwhile, welterweight prospect Kamaru Usman takes on Norway’s Emil Meek, Paige VanZant returns to the cage against Jessica-Rose Clark, and Michael Johnson makes his featherweight debut against a tough test in Darren Elkins.

The only downside is that UFC Fight Night 124 takes place on 14 January – a Sunday night or the early hours of Monday morning for those in Europe.
