Dong Hyun Kim is feeling lonely.

The South Korean contender confesses that his training scheduled is so Spartan and rigorous that it leaves no time for love.

In an extended interview in his homeland recently he touched on the subject of fearing that his dedication to MMA would leave him a bachelor for life:

“We do not have seasons so after we finish a fight we rest for just a little bit and then we schedule a fight and have to start training again,” he says.

“As I get older I feel lonely sometimes because not many people know this feeling. I might not be able to get married because of this schedule.”

Kim is 4-1 in his last five. In his last outing he stopped Erick Silva, effectively putting the brakes on the hype train that the young Brazilian had been riding.

On March 1 he will fight John Hathaway in China.
