Las Vegas, Nevada: Rob Hewitt, CEO of Fighters Only, is pleased to announce that Chael Sonnen is returning to host the special fifteenth-anniversary edition of the annual Fighters Only World MMA Awards on Thursday, December 14, at the iconic SAHARA Las Vegas.
Sonnen is one of the most recognisable personalities ever in the sport, both in and outside of the cage. ‘The Bad Guy’ enjoyed a legendary MMA career, which saw him compete against some the biggest names in the history of our sport, from Jon Jones to Fedor Emelianenko to Anderson Silva.
He has unsurprisingly transitioned into his role in front of the camera with his various analyst positions, podcasts, and his popular YouTube channel. Known for his unpredictable remarks, polarizing takes on the sport, quick wit, and humour, anything can happen when Sonnen takes to the stage to host the awards.
“Circle the date on your calendar. Put a reminder on your phone. Write it on your refrigerator if you’re the type to stay at home,” said Sonnen. “The Fighters Only World MMA Awards are coming. Chael Sonnen is the host of the greatest show from pole to pole and also from coast to coast.”
