Former UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie has decided to fight again.

On September 2 at UFC Fight Night 115, she will compete in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, her home country, and take on Marion Reneau at 135-pounds.

For Utrecht’s de Randamie, 8-3, this fight will mark the first time she has appeared in an Octagon since deciding to vacate her featherweight title rather than face Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino on the grounds that the Brazilian was a “known and proven cheater”. De Randamie had won her featherweight belt with a controversial decision win over Holly Holm in February, but now, due to her reluctance to defend it, the belt is Cyborg’s to win on July 29 when she takes on Tonya Evinger.

Reneau, 7-3-1, meanwhile, was last seen battling to a hard-fought draw with Bethe Correia at UFC Fight Night 106 in March. Before that, ‘The Belizean Bruiser’ had scored UFC wins over Milan Dudieva, Jéssica Andrade and Alexis Dufresne.

UFC Fight Night 115 will be headlined by a heavyweight contest between home hero Stefan ‘Skyscraper’ Struve and Russia’s Alexander Volkov.
