Maiquel Falcao caught a horrendous beating at the weekend – and not in a cage.
The former UFC and current Bellator fighter got into an altercation at a gas station after apparently trying it on with the wrong woman.
Her male companions did not take kindly to Falcao shoving her when she rejected his advances, and they responded with force.
When the fight spilled onto the forecourt one of the group armed himself with a stick or bat. At one point he can be seen flattening Falcao in the bottom left corner of the screen before running up to the top right to do the same for Falcao’s friend Kaue Mena.
Unfortunately Mena, 22 and also an MMA fighter, sustained a serious attack once he was unconscious, taking numerous kicks and stamps to the head. He has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition.
Falcao escaped with minor injuries, despite apparently being the instigator. In light of his conviction for assaulting a woman in a nightclub in 2002, Falcao’s position does not look good in relation to this latest incident.
