We’re now into the fifth week of The Ultimate Fighter season 23 and the rivalry between coaches Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadhela has continued to heat up week on week.
“It was very hard to be in the house with her,” Gadelha told MMAjunkie. “She’s such a b**ch. Other times she’s trying to say things to me and bully me all the time. But I just don’t pay attention to her at any time because I was concentrating on my team. I wanted my team to win. I didn’t want to spend my energy on her.”
Claudia is set to rematch UFC strawweight champ Joanna in a title fight at the TUF 23 Finale on Friday July 8th. Joanna defeated Gadhela via split decision in a close-fought contest back in December 2014.
With the way things have looked on the current TUF season, Joanna has been the antagonist in the Jedrzejczyk-Gadhela beef, and the Brazilian challenger feels like the fans are beginning to turn on her Polish nemesis.
“I’m getting a lot of messages on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and people are talking about Joanna. I see that they don’t like what she’s doing,” Gadelha said. “The thing is I’m very respectful of everybody and she’s very disrespectful, so I think she is showing who she is now.”
