Bellator featherweight A.J. McKee, a man of whom great things are expected, will take on Blair Tugman at Bellator 182, in what will be McKee’s ninth professional fight.
Bellator 182 takes place on August 25 at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, and the fight between McKee and Tugman will form part of the event’s main card.
Californian McKee, 8-0, was last seen scoring a tremendous head-kick knockout of Dominic Mazzotta in April at Bellator 178. Still just 22, the son of former fighter Antonio McKee would appear to have the world at his feet, and, in the latest issue of Fighters Only magazine, editor Michael Owens caught up with McKee to hear all about his plans to take over the featherweight division.
Tugman, meanwhile, is 10-6 as a professional and known as ‘The Bull Shark’. A native of Branford, Connecticut, Tugman had an up and down start to his career but has since flourished to the tune of three straight wins. Last time out, in April, he submitted Tom English in the third round.
