Jervis Cole, who has managed high-profile MMA fighters including Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans and Jon Jones, and also assists top UFC light heavyweight contender Daniel Cormier as an MMA consultant, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money for his wife Samantha’s ongoing battle against granulosa cell carcinoma – a rare form of ovarian cancer.

This form of cancer accounts for less than 1% of ovarian cancers, with surgery being the most effective way of removing or slowing the growth of the tumors.

Samantha has so far undergone six major surgeries. Jervis and his family hope to raise a total of $25,000 to help Sam continue her inspirational fight.

“Once again my wife and I would like to say thank you to our family and friends,” Cole said recently via his official Facebook page. “You guys are amazing. You give, you pray, you bring food, and you call us daily. We couldn’t ask for better friends and family than what we currently have in our lives. Samantha is doing very well and getting stronger everyday. Her post operation check up will be coming up soon. Please keep her in your prayers and your continued support.”
