Stamp Fairtex has been longing for a second shot at the grandest prize in ONE Championship’s atomweight MMA division as she continues her quest to become the promotion’s three-sport world champion, and the Thai fan favorite will get it in her upcoming fight.

Stamp will face off with esteemed South Korean mixed martial artist Ham Seo Hee for the ONE interim women’s atomweight MMA world title in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14 on Saturday, 30th September, and her road back to this point has been intriguing for fans to follow.

The 25-year-old almost reached the pinnacle of the division once before, but the “Unstoppable” nature of atomweight queen Angela Lee proved too much for her when she came to challenge the world title at ONE X in March 2022, and she suffered a submission loss in the second round on that occasion.

But since that stern lesson, Stamp has continued to go from strength to strength in ONE. She returned to MMA action at ONE on Prime Video 2 last October and clinically bested Jihin Radzuan over three rounds.

The win indicated to many that the former ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing queen’s mixed martial arts tenure was no flash in the pan.

And when the world’s largest martial arts organization reached the United States for the first time this past May with ONE Fight Night 10, Stamp’s inclusion was one of the biggest takeaways, proving that she was indeed a global superstar.

The dancing dynamo lit up the sold-out 1stBank Center in Colorado with her antics, and she took out homegrown hero Alyse Anderson to show that she wasn’t there just to shimmy and shake.

With back-to-back MMA wins in place for the first time since her initial World Title charge, the top-ranked atomweight contender now has her final hurdle to overcome in Ham Seo Hee.

“Hamzzang” has been untouchable throughout her ONE tenure, and she has three straight victories in the atomweight division to add to her overall winning streak of nine.

With world champion Lee’s career, understandably, on hold, the pair will vie for the division’s interim gold on 30th September. And whoever leaves victorious may be the next atomweight queen in waiting.
