Seven fights have been added to the UFC 216 event on October 7 in Las Vegas, including a lightweight fight between Evan Dunham and Beneil Dariush and a middleweight fight between Brad Tavares and Thales Leites.
Dunham, 18-6, has won every one of his last four fights, whereas Dariush, 14-3, will be looking to rebound from a knockout loss suffered at the hands of Edson Barboza last time out.
Tavares, 13-2, has won back-to-back fights, and was last seen defeating Elias Theodorou in July. His opponent, Thales Leites, meanwhile, is a veteran of the middleweight division, a former UFC middleweight title challenger, and comes off a decision win over Sam Alvey in April.
In addition to bouts involving Dunham and Dariush and Tavares and Leites, UFC 214 will also include the following: a heavyweight fight between Walt Harris, 9-5, and Mark Godbeer, 12-3; a lightweight fight between Lando Vannata, 9-2, and Abel Trujillo, 15-7; a lightweight fight between Will Brooks, 18-3, and Nik Lentz, 27-8-2; a flyweight bout between John Moraga, 17-6, and Magomed Bibulatov, 14-0, as well as a second flyweight bout between Matt Schnell, 9-4, and Marco Beltran, 8-5.
A UFC 216 headline fight has yet to be announced.
