The UFC has signed Russian female bantamweight Alexandra “Stitch” Albu.

The undefeated 5-0 fighter inked a contract this week. She has a background in judo but has shown a preference for keeping the fight standing.

Her record includes four finishes inside the first round by way of KO or TKO.

Albu is based in Moscow, Russia and trains with the MMA Kegi team. She is 23 years old and has also been a competitive bodybuilder in the past.

She has also been a national champion in karate in her native Russia and a bronze medallist at the European championships.

As if all that wasn’t enough, she has also done some modeling. Fighters who complain of never having enough time in the day, take note.

Albu’s debut is yet to be announced but her signing reflects the UFC’s twin interests in building female contenders and taking a live event to Russia in the near future.
