UK fighter Dakota Ditcheva picked up a huge win at this past weekend’s Tanko Main Event Muay Thai show by defeating fellow Brit Emma Bragg for the ISKA 50.5kg British championship.

The event took place May 14th at the USN Arena in Bolton, England.

Dakota dropped her for the eight count on two separate occasions in the opening round before finally finishing Bragg with a knee to the ribs in round two.

“I’m very happy, the adrenaline is still going. I’m getting better each time and it’s all moving along fast,” Ditcheva said after her second-round TKO win. “I’m trying to keep busy with all the fights. I fly to Sweden on Thursday to fight in the World Championships.”

As a holder of multiple Muay Thai titles, including three world championships, the teenage Ditcheva is being touted as one to watch for MMA fans as her striking skills could one day make her a serious threat to many girls in the UFC’s strawweight division.
