Voluntary medical advisory organisation Safe MMA has welcomed rising British promotion MACTO Championships as a member.

Demand for UFC in Europe has once again proved exceptionally high as tickets for the promotion's debut Scottish event, UFC Fight Night 67, sold out in a matter of hours, according to a UFC press release.

The UFC visited the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil on Saturday May 30th with UFC Fight Night 67. Welterweights Carlos Condit and Thiago Alves faced off in the main event.

Though it has a line-up that couldn’t hope to match the star-studded UFC 187 event from last weekend, there are still a few golden betting opportunities at UFC Fight Night 67 to look forward to. Let’s see what the oddsmakers at 5Dimes make of it as we pick out the best of the main card.

UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has responded to a recent joke/comment made by her next opponent, Bethe Correia, regarding suicide.

UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos is currently on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury. According to a report on UFC Tonight, RDA's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, the UFC 155lb champ has yet to be medically cleared but is hoping to return to action in December.

UFC middleweight contender Luke Rockhold is currently on a collision course with former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida, as the two are set to fight at UFC on Fox 15 on April 18th.

But following a recent appearance on US reality show Millionaire Matchmaker, Luke's personal life (and more specifically, his love life) has been of even more interest than his fighting career. In an exclusive interview with the former Strikeforce middleweight champ in the current issue of Fighters Only, Rockhold discusses the movies and TV shows he enjoys when not training and, of course, talks a little about the ladies. Read below for a special preview.

Despite the haters, the profile of Irish UFC featherweight Conor McGregor continues to rise as it was announced yesterday that the one they call 'The Notorious' has inked a deal with top sports equipment brand Reebok.

‚ÄúCan you smell that money?" Conor joked with UFC Tonight¬†host Kenny Florian.¬†"I‚Äôve partnered with Reebok. It‚Äôs a big step forward in my career and I‚Äôm honored to be with this brand... I‚Äôm honored to be one of the athletes that Reebok has chosen to get behind. I will prove that by going out and performing in phenomenal style.‚ÄĚ

The deal comes roughly one-and-a-half months after the UFC confirmed an exclusive apparel deal with the brand.

McGregor will face his next challenge in Dennis Siver this Sunday in the main event at UFC Fight Night 59. With a win the Irishman will get the next shot at Jose Aldo's featherweight title. He has stated numerous times in the build-up to his next contest that he believes he will stop the fight within the first two minutes.

‚ÄúI enjoy pressure," he said when asked if he has put more pressure on himself with his bold prediction. "I like the feeling and illusion of pressure. Where the prediction has come from, I analyze my opponent. The shot I need to put him away will happen four or five times over within the first two minutes. So I feel two minutes is a fair prediction for Dennis. I feel it could even be the first exchange. The way he moves, he will not take what I give.‚ÄĚ

UFC lightweight contender Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone will make it two fights in just over two weeks this weekend as he faces Benson Henderson in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 59.

News broke yesterday that UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones tested positive for benzoylecgonine (the main metabolite in cocaine) in a random drug test issued by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) on December 4th - one month prior to his UFC 182 title defence against Daniel Cormier.

It may seem crazy to the outside world that a guy like Tim Kennedy makes his living fighting the world's most men inside the confines of a cage - but when you see how the smiling ex-soldier likes to relax then you begin to understand why it takes such extreme situations to get Kennedy's blood pumping.

It appears you can‚Äôt release a music video and expect it to reach the top of the charts anymore without getting ‚ÄėThe California Kid‚Äô Urijah Faber to cameo in it.

Hot on the heels of his guest appearance in Pharrell Williams’ 24-hour Happy video, where he danced along the California streets with sister Michaella, Faber is now the male lead in Lauren Mayhew’s next hit What Is Love.

UFC featherweight Lucas Martins will be looking for redemption at UFC Fight Night 67, following his split-decision loss to Darren Elkins last October, against undefeated Mirsad Bektic.

UFC light heavyweight Francimar Barroso will be looking to tip the scale of his UFC record back onto the winning side when he faces Ryan Jimmo this weekend at UFC Fight Night 67. And it appears he's ready to take it to his opponent in all areas.

Fight fans will see a very different Norman Parke in Brazil this weekend after the County Antrim lightweight decided it was time to get mean in his quest to become a UFC title contender.

This year's show, sponsored by Bodybuilding.com, RDX Sports and MusclePharm, was hosted on Friday January 30th at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. It was hosted by Nicole Dabeau and retired MMA and military veteran Brian Stann.

Among the winners at the event were UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler, who bagged the coveted 'Fighter of the Year' award, and UFC 135b champ TJ Dillashaw who took home the newly-introduced 'Upset of the Year' for his title win over Renan Barao at UFC 173.

MMA has a long and (in)glorious history of fearless people trying new things to appeal to the sport’s existing fans, and pull in new ones. And as a sport that developed very much in the public eye, it makes the inevitable madcap failures all the more memorable.
