Aviv Gozali’s heel hook submission victory over Eduard Muravitsky is nominated for the Submission of the Year in the 12th annual World MMA Awards.

At Bellator 225, Aviv Gozali announced to the world just how good his submission game is with an 11-second heel hook victory over the much more experienced fighter in Eduard Muravitskiy in August of last year.

Like his father Haim, Gozali has displayed a penchant for stunningly-quick submissions.

On this occasion, the teenage Israeli prospect left nothing to chance as he immediately initiated an Imanari roll to snatch Muravitsky’s left leg.

Rolling and wrenching on that limb, Gozali expertly forced Muravitsky to tap to his heel hook submission just 11 seconds into their contest – the fastest submission win in Bellator history.

Not a bad showing for your third professional MMA fight.
