Bieber calls Diaz’s fighting style ‘terrible’, Diaz responds

Nate Diaz has gone from an MMA fan favorite to a mainstream star thanks to his UFC 196 submission win over Conor McGregor. And among the big names who’ve become aware of Diaz is pop idol Justin Bieber.

Following McGregor’s loss on March 5th, Bieber posted a short video on Instagram of himself and friends raising a toast to the Irishman. While he gave Nate respect in the video’s caption, he also called the Stockton fighter’s style “terrible”.

No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect.

Unsurprisingly, Diaz didn’t take too kindly to Bieber’s assessment and posted a comical reply on his own Instagram account:

Diaz also recently threatened to slap UFC commentator Jon Anik after Anik stated that Diaz stood little chance of defeating McGregor.
