It looks like British knockout artist Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley has added another name to his growing hit list after Josh Neer – a veteran of over 50 pro MMA bouts – expressed an interested in fighting Daley in a Fighters Only magazine interview.

“I’d like to see a fight between myself and Paul Daley,” Neer said in a recent edition of FO. “The fans would like that fight. Maybe over in the UK when (Bellator) go there. I’d be up for that.”

Upon reading Neer’s interview, Daley was quick to respond via Facebook:

Neer is currently on a three-fight losing streak, most recently losing to Anthony Smith via TKO in January. If he hopes to take on a big-name fighter like Daley he will most likely have to pick up a win or two before getting that chance.

But, win or lose, it looks like Neer will most likely have to wait at least a while for a crack at Daley as the Brit is rumored to be facing fellow Bellator welterweight and long-time nemesis Josh Koscheck – the number-two on his hit list – in his next bout, although nothing has been confirmed. The two men famously fought in the UFC back in 2010, with Koscheck winning via unanimous decision. Daley was cut by the UFC for throwing a punch at Koscheck after the end of the final round.
