With the shocking news that Jon Jones has been pulled from the UFC 200 main event, following a flagged United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) drug test, reverberating around the MMA world today, it begs the question if UFC president Dana White might’ve regretted pulling Conor McGregor from the card.

The rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor was initially scheduled to take place at UFC 200 however after McGregor failed to fulfill media obligations the fight was cancelled. That rematch is now set for the main event UFC 202 which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 20th.

With the Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones rematch off, SBG head coach John Kavanagh took to twitter to ask that very question. “I wonder if there’s any regret taking him [Conor McGregor] off the card over a press conference now?” said Kavanagh.

UFC President Dana White shut down any regret quite emphatically with a one word reply.
